노들섬은 한강에 격리된 현재상황을 넘어서서, 확장된 도시적 네트워크와 문화적 네트워크, 자연적 네트워크를 구성해야 한다. 도시의 섬은 더 이상 고립되는 것이 아니라 시민들이 쉽게 접근하고 점유하는 문화네트워크의 플랫폼 역할을 수행해야 한다.

도시적 네트워크 회복_한강으로 나누어진 강북과 강남을 연결하는 연결점에 놓여서 도시와 문화 시설을 연결하는 네트워크 광장으로서의 역할을 부여한다. 다양한 보행자의 진입과 연결을 가능케하는 도시구조의 네트워크를 구성한다.

자연적 네트워크 흐름_옥외전시공간, 옥외휴식공간, 옥외 이벤트공간, 자연공원, 산책로 등과 연계된 구성을 통한 자연적인 네트워크를 가능케 한다.

​믄화적 네트워크 중심_문화의 감상-창작-정보-체험 등의 작품과 관객 간의 상호교류와 이해를 가능케하는 네트워크적인 구조를 제공한다. 공연장, 창작지원시설, 다목적홀, 전시장, 미디어센터 등과 연계된 문화 네트워크의 새로운 중심 공간을 구성한다.

Cultural Network Platform

Nodeul Island must go beyond the current isolation of the Han River and form an expanded urban network, cultural network, and natural network. The islands in the city should no longer isolated, but should serve as a platform for the cultural network that citizens can easily access and occupy.

Restoration of Urban Network_It is placed at the connection point between Gangbuk and Gangnam, which is divided into the Han River, and confers its role as a network plaza that connects urban and cultural facilities. It constructs a network of urban structures that allows various pedestrians to enter and connect.

Natural Network Flow_It enables natural network through the configuration connected with outdoor exhibition space, outdoor rest space, outdoor event space, natural park, and walkway.

Center of Cultural Network_Provides a network structure that enables interaction and understanding between works and audiences such as appreciation, creation, information, and experience of culture. It constructs a new central space of cultural network linked to performance halls, creative support facilities, multipurpose halls, exhibition halls and media centers.
